Attraction Story -Driver's License

Listen to this! On a Saturday a while back I went shopping with my landlady. When we arrived home I hopped out of the car and began gathering bags of groceries to take inside the house. My purse is a knapsack style with long straps and it was in the way so I hung it on the passenger side mirror, telling myself I would come back to get it as soon as I put the groceries away. The very next day, Sunday, in the middle of a phone interview with a client about the phenomena of ‘Angel Interventions’ the door bell rings.

I run downstairs to answer the door and a nice looking young man is standing there holding up my purse. He said he had found it in the ditch a couple of blocks down the street. He’d found my address on my driver’s license, which led him to our front steps. I reached inside my purse for my wallet and at a glance I saw that it still had the $60.00 which was the change from my shopping the day before. I handed him a twenty dollar bill as I thanked him profusely. At first he refused but I persuaded him saying, “You’re my angel of the day! Please accept my gift of appreciation and gratitude.

And now, stand by for the REST OF THE STORY.

I’ve been procrastinating getting the address of my driver’s license changed for TWO YEARS as least. On the previous Friday, I was in town with my to-do list in my hand, steadfastly accomplishing one errand after another when I eventually ended up at the post office. Just as I left, a thought burst into my head. “Get your driver’s addressed changed!”

I didn’t know where the Motor Vehicle Branch and neither of the postal workers knew it’s location but a kind customer volunteered the correct information I was seeking. I rarely stray from my to-do list. It’s just not part of my Virgo Being. This time however, the thought was so strong, I went in search of the MVB and after a brief stop at the fire hall to check and see if I was headed in the right direction, I was soon at the correct destination. In no time at all, I had the correct address affixed to the back of my license. And…that’s how the nice young man knew where to find me! My driver’s license address was up to date.

I’m grateful it was such a nice, honest young man who found my purse.

I’m grateful that he took the time to find me.
I’m grateful that my wallet was intact.
I’m grateful that the Universe sent me that very strong thought on the previous Friday to stop what I was doing and go to the Motor Vehicle Branch.

Is the Universe friendly to me? Yes
Is the Universe conspiring on my behalf to bring me ALL that is for my highest good? Yes!

Hey folks, it’s supposed to be like this when you live your life with gratitude and appreciation.
Until next time, Gizelle
